Hitch Extenders
Extending your hitch helps prevent hitting trailer or propane tanks when making
sharp turns while towing. These are also great when using hitch accessories such
as bike racks. Extenders can be used with weight distribution hitches. Extended
lengths are measured from center to center of hitch pin holes. Powder coated black finish.
Using a 2 1/2" hitch extender
will reduce your hitch's overall capacity by 1/4.
Using a 2" hitch extender
will reduce your hitch's overall capacity by 1/3.
Using a 1 1/4" hitch extender will reduce your hitch's overall capacity by 1/2.
